Eden Health District Director Dr. Ronald Hull has been named as this year’s participant in Bay Valley Medical Group’s Ira G. Davidoff Leadership Program.
Participants are selected in recognition of their demonstrated leadership potential and their contributions to Bay Valley Medical Group. Dr. Ronald Hull is the fourth physician to participate in the leadership program. Over the next year, he will be exposed to the many facets of Bay Valley Medical Group’s operations, as well as to the broader state of the contemporary health care environment.
The Ira G. Davidoff Leadership Program was launched in 2010 with the goal to develop future leaders and to provide professional growth opportunities for physicians within the organization. Previous Leadership Program participants Dr. Anupama Velpuri (2011) and Dr. Carolyn Hudson (2012) were also in attendance.
“I’m looking forward to learning more about the business aspects of health care and how to apply that insight to keeping our patients healthy, with consideration to cost of care,” said Dr. Hull.
“We are pleased to recognize Dr. Hull by selecting him to participate in the program. In addition to his commitment to his patients, he has taken initiative to further Bay Valley Medical Group’s visibility by representing the organization in the community, as well as taking on additional roles within Bay Valley Medical Group,” said Dr. Eric Kohleriter, medical director of Bay Valley Medical Group. “He has volunteered his time as a liaison for physicians and is an active contributor to marketing and communications activities.” Dr. Hull has been with Bay Valley Medical Group since 2006 and is a practicing podiatrist at the Hayward and Castro Valley offices.
